ReproFuture Fellowship Program (Cohort 1)
BACKGROUND
HAWKS YOUTH VISION FOUNDATION is a not-for-profit Youth registered organization. We are bringing together thousands of youth groups from across the Pakistan for their capacity building and betterment of Pakistan. Hawks Youth Vision Foundation is pleased to announce the ReproFuture Fellowship, a transformative opportunity for young leaders to advance Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in their communities. The fellowship aims to equip young people with the knowledge, skills, and networks necessary to become effective SRHR advocates and change-makers.
The Reprofuture Fellowship Program is a comprehensive initiative designed to empower young individuals to become effective advocates for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in Pakistan. The program aims to address the pressing issues of SRHR in Pakistan, where young people face significant barriers in accessing accurate information, services, and support.
FELLOWSHIP COMPONANTS
5-Days Residential Program: Fully funded, in-person training and networking opportunity for top 20 virtual program participants.
Project Grant: Seed funding to support fellows' SRHR projects, with guidance from Hawks' team.
Networking Opportunities: Connections with SRHR stakeholders, including organizations, policymakers, and youth leaders.
The Reprofuture Fellowship Program will focus on the following thematic areas:
SRHR and Human Rights: Understanding the intersection of SRHR and human rights, including the right to life, dignity, and equality.
Life Skill Base Education: Life Skill base Education in SRHR initiatives, including community-based Awarness, outreach programs, and partnerships with local organizations..
Reproductive Health and Wellbeing: Exploring the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of reproductive health and wellbeing, including menstrual health, contraception, and maternal health.
Sexuality and Gender: Examining the complex relationships between sexuality, gender, and SRHR, including LGBTQ+ rights and gender-based violence.
SRHR and Advocacy: Developing effective advocacy skills to promote SRHR awareness, education, and community engagement, including media engagement, public speaking, and campaign design.
Community Engagement and Participation: Fostering community engagement and participation in SRHR initiatives, including community-based projects, outreach programs, and partnerships with local organizations.
Policy and Legislation: Analyzing the policy and legislative frameworks governing SRHR in Pakistan, including the implications of national and international laws and policies on SRHR.
SRHR and Mental Health: Exploring the intersections between SRHR and mental health, including the impact of SRHR issues on mental wellbeing and the importance of mental health support in SRHR advocacy.
ELIGIBILITY:
• Open to everyone from across the Pakistan.
• Applicants should have a strong interest in exchanging on best practice and the developing and learning of new ways of working on the issue and to think “out-of-the-box”.
• There is age between 16 to 29 years.
Application Fee for Fellowship Rs. 12,000/- Only Selected Participants will submited (Including 5 days accommudation, food and local travelling only)
